Often, growth and overcoming challenges come as a result of fixed and engaged tutoring environments. This is as it suggests – my uninterrupted and focused concentration on assisting with your development and progress: identifying the problems and coming up with techniques and methods to go beyond them.

What is important here is to be able to see from where the learner has come – test results and evaluations, various assessments and reports, anything that can identify as the starting point. In many circumstances, we will be doing exercises together as well as working on small tasks given for “homework.” In that way, we can work together to discover gaps and identify methods for improvement. If novel reading is involved, I will access the requirements to be familiar with what is needed.

Meetings can take place either in person (if you live in the Calgary area) or over Zoom; in both cases, viewing the person and the work is crucial. This is perfect for those that are frustrated and need support and encouragement, to develop confidence and basic skills for strengthening their learning foundation.

This can take also the form of homework help, Language Arts, Social Studies or Humanities programs, ESL assistance, or anything else in the area of speaking, writing, and comprehension.
